Drill Blocks for Dumpling Squishy Empty Slot, Drill, Zone, or Rebirth

One bottleneck per cash tick — then go back to the wall before the plot idles.

Progression Planner

This planner is a decision tree for Drill Blocks for Dumpling Squishy, not a damage spreadsheet. You run it when cash is sitting in the HUD and the shop is glowing. You do not run it while a squishy is still on the ground. The loop stays the same after every click: drill blocks, collect, place, cash, then upgrade. The only question is which upgrade is the bottleneck. Answer it in order. Skip a step only when the step is already done.

The game has been live since 7 August 2026. Promotional art of a Secret Galaxy Squishy with a huge cash-per-second label is a north star, not a first-hour purchase. Work the tree top to bottom so another player’s plot in a five-player server does not set your spend.

1. Empty plot slot

If any generator tile is empty, fill it before you buy power, a zone trip, or a rebirth. An empty slot is a printer you refused to turn on. A common squishy that is actually placed beats a “better” drop that never leaves inventory. This is the leak that makes people say the game is slow on day one.

Place the best unused squishy you already hold. If you hold two and cannot tell, glance at the tier list and pick the one that prints, not the one that looks closer to the promotional galaxy art. Then physically walk the plot. Plot setup is the layout pass: keep pickups obvious, keep the path back from the wall short, and do not hide a slot behind a decoration you cannot click on mobile.

If every slot is filled, only then leave this branch. Do not buy a duplicate common “for later” while a tile is still blank. Later is not a slot.

2. Drill power

If slots are full and the current wall feels sticky — long contact, few pops — the bottleneck is the drill, not the collection. Buy the next drill when the wall is the thing wasting time. Do not buy it because the shop button is prettier than a squishy you already parked. Details and “is this upgrade actually cheaper than another body” live on drill power.

A stronger drill that still farms the starter layer is a half-spend. After the purchase, test the wall for one short burst. If pops sped up, you called it right. If nothing changed, you may already be on a layer that needs a zone move, not a second drill click. Do not stack three drill buys in a panic without returning to the wall. The planner is one spend per pass.

3. Later zone

If slots are full, the drill already breaks the current wall quickly, and the drops are junk you already own, the bottleneck is the layer. Move into a later zone when your drill can actually break it. Standing in starter dirt after that point is how you duplicate commons and then wonder why the tier list never applies to you.

Zones is the map for that walk. This planner only asks whether the drill can break the next wall without forever-contact. If no, you skipped step 2. If yes, take the walk and place the first new drop only if it beats something already on the plot.

Do not treat a zone as a rebirth. You can scout a layer and come back. You cannot un-spend a rebirth because the new wall was too thick.

4. Rebirth last

Rebirth is a reset with a hoped-for bonus, not a loot pickup. You reach this branch only when slots are full, the drill is not the stall, and you already know what later zones expect. If you cannot name what the rebirth gives in this client, you are not on this branch yet — you are gambling. Watch one manual rebirth on a session you can afford to lose before you ever automate the thought, and never let a testing hub click it for you.

Skip rebirth when any slot is empty, the wall is still sticky and drill power has an upgrade you can buy, you have not walked the next zone once, or you are copying someone else in the five-player server. Take it when the plot is genuinely capped: tiles full of keepers, drill comfortable, later layers sampled, and a reset bonus you have seen in-client.

How to run the tree in under a minute

Say the bottleneck out loud: slot, drill, zone, or rebirth. Spend on that one thing, close the shop, and drill until the next cash spike. If you cannot pick one word, default to slot, then drill. Zone and rebirth only print after those two are honest.

Use plot setup after a slot fill if the path back from the wall got worse, and zones after a drill buy if pops are fast but loot is stale. Use the tier list only to break a tie between two bodies.

On the next cash tick, ask only one question: what is the bottleneck — empty slot, weak drill, wrong zone, or a rebirth you cannot afford to waste? Answer it, spend once, and go back to drilling before the plot idles. That sentence is the whole tool; everything above is how you refuse to skip a step.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after every drill session.

What should I buy first with cash?

Fill an empty plot slot. A placed common beats an unplaced ‘better’ drop. Then consider drill power if the wall is sticky.

When is a drill upgrade the right spend?

When every slot is already printing and the current wall takes too long to break. Test the wall after one buy instead of stacking three panic clicks.

When do I move to a later zone?

When the drill already breaks the current layer quickly and the drops are duplicates. Walk it with zones; do not rebirth just to change scenery.

When is rebirth correct?

Last. Full slots, comfortable drill, later layers sampled, and a bonus you have actually seen in-client. Never rebirth because a neighbour in the five-player server did.

How do I choose which squishy occupies the last slot?

Break ties with the tier list and park it using plot setup. Do not leave the tile empty while you wait for promotional galaxy art to drop.

Should I run this tree every second?

No. Run it once per cash spike. One bottleneck, one spend, then back to the wall.
